19 of RGIT's Business and Management Department Cert. IV and Diploma students, along with Trainers Sourabh and Joanne, had an excursion to the Immigration Museum in Melbourne on Monday, 18 September 2017. The Museum tour, which included a walk down Flinders Street, was designed to give students the opportunity to focus on subjects ranging from 'diversity' to 'customer service'.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) students discussed the benefits of studying childcare at RGIT at the Melbourne Campus on Tuesday, 29 August 2017. Students Kevin, Eugenia and Anupama spoke of the benefits of learning hands-on children's activities, as well as how studying ECEC will help them realise their dream careers in the future.

"A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dates all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path". Although Mothers should be celebrated everyday, one special day is set aside every year to specially commemorate these super humans! Several students at RGIT leave thier home countries to experience an adventure abroad. Hence, they could not celebrate this Mothers Day with their Mums. However, with the advancements in technology barriers of place and time can be over come.

With over 8 years’ experience, Nildhara Gadani has done it all from teaching young children groovy dance moves to training them in art. If being an artist, dancer and trainer wasn’t enough Nildhara also enjoys doing community service. We caught up with her to discuss what inspires her.

Students from the English Department participated in the Meld Magazine "Get to Work" Activity which taught them their legal rights at work through a fun and interactive card game.

Hobart Language day is an initiative taken by Hobartians to celebrate World Book day (23rd April). Language has always been a medium through which mankind transfers ideas, knowledge and feelings. Coherent to it, books have been one of the most valued means to record the output and beauty of language. Thus, diversity in language has a tendency to generate multiple books.

A special training session was conducted for the Childcare students in first aid. Students learnt how to take care of emergency situations!!!

Student Orientations are designed to clear the air and put new students at ease. RGIT had orientations for students for the April Intake in both the Melbourne and Hobart Campus. Staff and Administration got a chance to brief students on what to expect of their student lives here in Australia and at RGIT.
