RGIT Australia, situated in Melbourne CBD, is seeking to appoint a Vocational Training Manager with business development experience and ability to lead and further develop RTO’s business to the next level. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar managerial role and experience with all areas of competency based training.

This is a full-time position. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Play an integral strategic role in the development of the training business;
  • Manage all aspects of competency based training provision and coordination of current courses;
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of training business opportunities according to the current new trends;
  • Manage and organize all aspects of workplace placements liaising with industry providers to maintain and encourage further placements and employment opportunities;
  • Ability to oversee and review training assessment and delivery strategies;
  • Executing strategy to deliver tangible business outcomes;
  • Review and improve internal systems for effective management of training programs and RPL/RCC processes

     

Position Responsibilities

  • Extensive knowledge on vocational currency and AQTF 2016 and VET sector compliance and experience working within the RTO industry;
  • Experience and understanding of all of assessment, development of course materials and unpacking of Training Package competencies;
  • Experience working with Government funded training contracts;
  • Demonstrate track record in effective leadership management and the ability to implement and promote changes;
  • Experience in managing vocational accreditation and addition to scope;
  • Ability to take ownership of project management and work on stringent deadlines;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in decision making process and help senior management develop and execute strategies for future growth;

Work based Training Coordinator (Hospitality Program) 

RGIT Australia, situated in Melbourne's CBD, is looking for highly-motivated and dedicated Work based Training Coordinator for the institute's Hospitality programs.

This is a full-time position. 

Position Purpose

The Work based training Coordinator is responsible for Managing and coordinating the work placement of students undertaking approved hospitality programs.The Work based training coordinator will also be responsible for visiting the workplace to assess the students and the workplace for the holistic unit.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Possession of relevant academic and/or vocational qualifications and experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
  • Minimum 2 yrs of vocational education and training experience
  • Significant work experience in the Hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in communicating and networking with establishments and education stakeholders
  • Experience in working as part of a small group of people to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Experience in working with overseas students or multicultural / diverse communities.
  • Experience in working with the VET Quality Training Framework Standards for Registered Training Establishments and the ESOS national code.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assisting in determining the structure of work-based training and/or assessment for international students.
  • Developing the criteria on which the selection and approval of workplaces are based.
  • Liaising and consulting with a wide range of Hospitality establishments and groups involved in the vocational education and training field in order to manage and co-ordinate the work placement for RGIT students.
  • Assisting in the development of an annual action plan to ensure that RGIT meets the educational and training requirements.
  • Representing RGIT at appropriate industry, provider and government training forums associated with the Hospitality sector.

System Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, managing and maintaining the Student Management Systems (SMS) database architecture including RTO Manager and VETtrack by performing such duties as setting-up the modules, naming convention, ensuring integrity, reporting to authorities to maintain compliance, generating reports and maintaining students’ records in an efficient and effective manner.

Position Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the student management system by designing course structures in accordance with the approved training and assessment strategies;
  • Develop, update, monitor and maintain staff and student SMS manuals;
  • Conduct training on the SMS usage to trainers and staff members on a regular basis in order to ensure effective operation of the system;
  • Generate reports and prepare learners’ intervention lists as and when required;
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of student academic results on the SMS;
  • Liaise with SMS developers/vendors including other stakeholders on such business needs as customisation, changes in reporting requirements to resolve SMS issues, when required;
  • Ensure compliance of the data management system as per the regulatory requirements;
  • Oversee ICT infrastructure for the integrity of the system; and

RGIT Australia, situated in Melbourne’s CBD, is looking for a highly-motivated and dedicated Marketing Officer (Northeast Asia) to work within the Institute’s Marketing and Sales Department.

Position Purpose

The respective officer will be responsible for the business development, sales growth and brand building of RGIT’s educational offerings in the allocated market (Northeast Asia). Specifically, the role will require promotion and growth of student numbers for RGIT’s VET and ELICOS courses.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in field relating to business or marketing
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general sales and marketing or 1 year demonstrated experience in international student marketing, in a Registered Training Organisation
  • Knowledge of international student recruitment markets, particularly their allocated market, is preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement onshore and offshore marketing plans to recruit international students from the Northeast Asian region
  • General basic level capability to use Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Basic organisation and prioritisation skills
  • General basic level capability of utilising the computer, therefore are able to learn and understand how to use new software/programs at a basic level
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a proficient manner
  • Ability to communicate in the common language of the allocated market is preferred (i.e. Korean)

Sales Officers
