Students and staff from RGIT Australia’s Business and Hospitality faculties participated in an interactive seminar on "Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace" in Level 7 Boardroom, RGIT Main Campus on Monday, 12 February 2018.

The seminar, organised by the college’s Business Faculty, saw students and staff participate in the seminar facilitated by corporate facilitator and soft skills coach, Rose Witherow. The seminar saw participants discuss intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, professional and personal relationships, decision making, teamwork, generational challenges, globalisation, stress management, and understanding diverse cultures and religions – all through the lens of emotional intelligence.

The session was designed to assist students and staff in the process of learning, creativity, expansion and the development of values and skills for collective benefit and long term sustainability. Staff and students look forward to more interactive sessions in the near future.

The seminar was filmed and a recording will be made available for Hobart Campus staff and students.
