Full-Fee-Paying Students

Full-fee-paying students are domestic students who are not eligible for government subsidies or loans.

Entry Requirements

Academic Entry Requirements

Students are required to meet a minimum academic level to study at RGIT Australia. Applicants need to show they can meet one of the following entry criteria:

  • Be aged over 18 and have demonstrated skills acquired through work experience.
  • Demonstrate through an enrolment interview, either in person or by phone, that they have the skills and ability to succeed in their chosen course.

Certificate III

    • Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 or higher.

Certificate IV

    • Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 or Certificate III or higher.

Diploma

    • Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 12 or Certificate IV or higher.

Advanced Diploma

    • Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 12 or Diploma or higher.

Do You Have Your USI Yet?

Students are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to commence any accredited training in Australia.

If you do not have a USI, we cannot issue your Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Statement of Attainment or Transcript. A USI also gives you easy online access to your enrolment and results information.

All students of vocational and educational training are required by the Australian Government to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

After completing the Expression of Interest Form and the qualification specific Pre-Training Review form (see “Pre-Training Review forms” under “HOW TO APPLY”), the Sales & Marketing Department will contact you to assit you with your expression of interest. Once you have decided on a course of study, the following will take place:

  1. You receive a Letter of Offer from us.
  1. Your application and supporting documents are processed.
  1. You are then required to make a 50% course payment (see Accepting an Offer below).
  1. After payment, we send you a Confirmation of Enrolment via email.
  1. Two weeks before term begins, you must visit RGIT Australia (Level 2, 28-32 Elizabeth St, Melbourne) to fill out your Enrolment Form.
  1. On enrolment day, you receive the date for your Orientation. At Orientation, you will receive your study timetable.

Onshore Applicants

To accept an offer for a place of study at RGIT Australia, students must:

  • Carefully read the Student Agreement & Acceptance
  • Make a necessary initial payment
  • Sign the agreement and return it to RGIT Australia
  1. Complete, sign and return the Letter of Offer Acceptance Form, together with tuition fee payment, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and other applicable fees as detailed in the offer letter.
  1. Payment can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) bank transfer, or via credit card at RGIT Australia Level 2, 28-32 Elizabeth St, Melbourne.
