Term 1 Orientation Day 2020
RGIT Australia’s newest students were welcomed at Term 1 Orientation Day 2020 at Main Campus on Monday, 20 January 2020. RGIT Australia’s academic and training staff facilitated the comprehensive orientation session, which provided students with important information on studying at RGIT Australia’s Main and Victoria House campuses.
As well as important information on studying at RGIT Australia, additional information was provided to overseas students on living in Melbourne and adjusting to the Australian lifestyle, and assistance services such as RGIT Australia’s Student Welfare Team.
In addition to important information about students’ responsibilities and attendance, students were also informed about student engagement opportunities while studying at RGIT, and RGIT Melbourne’s facilities including the Student Library and Resource Centre, recreational facilities, Training Kitchen, classrooms and simulated learning environments.
Following official proceedings, students were treated to light refreshments and were welcomed by staff and trainers and met fellow classmates.
